I go for the simple, I use a damp Klenex to wipe the screen down then a dry one to finish it off. I use this on all the TV's too. Never leaves a streak or residue. The trick is to use a damp not wet klenex.
I use the same method on my keyboard, a damp klenex and a little time and it's all clean.
On the monitor plastic or big stuff I use a wash cloth with water followed by a dry one.
Furniture polish on wood is always good. |

Just throw a lil elbow grease into it, or use the natural lubrication, spit.
Naw, what I do is get some pledge or some wipe to clean it out. Helps to take off the friggin' dust.

Find a 55 galoon drum of good ols Tricloroethelene then just drop the old keyboard into it. Leave it for 20 minutes and pull it out. I recommend doing this with somekind of basket assembly because if you get triclor on your skin it will remove all the oil from your skin and turn it white. Next get a leaf blower and blow dry the keyboard.
Oh yeah and don't let the State or Federal EPA find out you have that Triclor as it believe it is a banned cleaning solution because it is SOOOOOO TOXIC. _________________

LOL Bada, isn't that what "Energine" cleaning fluid was? I remember back in HS chemistry our teacher talked about Energine being some nasty crap, and I knew we had a few bottles of it at home
I believe it's 1-1-1 trichloroethelene? |

For the screen, I use "One Step" moist toweletts. Moist toweletts. . . man that sounds feminine! But they kick arse! They cut down on static electricity and clean the screen with no streaks. My daughter is always man handling my screen when she plays Nickjr so I always have PC funk! You can find it at any Office Max, Office Depot, or any computer store really.
For the keyboard, I would ALWAYS use a blower. Those little cans of C02 go a long way without adding moisture to electronic parts. Once again, my daughter and her chocolate, candy, cookie, bologna eating self always introduces new funk into my keyboard as well! If that's not enough, all keyboards are held together by a couple simple screws. Take them out and defunk your keyboard from the inside. Just be carefull not to wet, moisten, or even touch any of the electronics inside! Oil/H20 and electronics are never a good team! _________________ Recipient of POTM award
