This would be a narrative poem.
"Night Flight"
I slide the car
into first
The driveway slips away
2nd 3rd 4th 5th
Less than 5 seconds
I'm on the run
Running from the lights
that follow me
around corners
Night air wets my eyes
makes me blink
away my tears
I swerve around the curves
dropping gears
3rd on the floor
Slam it back
up to 5th
on the go again
The black foliage
flys past
as I speed across the night
I look at the gauge

I push harder

hurts to hold on
keeping control
ground flight takes me
The lights ahead
twist in my mind
approaching fast as I fly
Right Lane, Wrong lane
I don't know
If its him or me
I don't slow down
Admitting I'm less
unacceptable
He comes closer
Lights get brighter
Glaring my mind
Never slam the brakes
Brakes are weak
I go faster

Lit from the east

I asked him if he minded if I proclaimed myself the official ville poet/author. This is the reply I got. I made sure I asked the proper authorities before doing something like this.
Even before I asked Greebo, I asked Rob about a week ago, and he told me to ask Greebo, which I did.

Mul is right on the money. I don't want to write songs, and Greeb doesn't want to write poetry or short stories.
That said, I think i am gonna have to kill the poll, because I don't think it is an accurate depiction of what I wanted to find out.

as a fellow songwriter...i would love to hear some of your stuff Greebo!...if you or anyone else could point me into the right direction to where i can read some of them...that would be greeeeeat.
