My friend tried to connect to TV2 last night while at my house (a couple of us we're lanning) and it said he was banned. He is not banned on any other TV server. Could an ADMIN tell me why he's banned on TV2 so I can rely the information to him.

I did not ban him. We will have to wait until an admin who might of banned him reads this.

Without a date to look thru the logs this will be impractical to look up.

Usually if someone's banned on one server it's from cheat detection. If they're banned across all servers, they pissed someone off. I dunno about this one though.

Well according to the stats, 2002-05-25 02:34:47 is when TLM's last action was, by the looks of it it wasn't csgaurd because he was connected for awhile. Seems like you had a lot of SG kills dont know if that played into it.

Bufford was there.

So, you propbably said something you shouldn't of, maybe put an sg in respawn or right next to it. or something. We dont ban for no reason.

The log files shows that your WON ID has been in the auto banned list since TV2 was started back up as a TFC server. This might mean a cheat was auto detected while the server was running DOD. It is always possible that some Ass used a keygen program that just happened to generate your ID. I'm not sure how Rob handled the ban file when starting TV2 back as TFC.

I can't see the log where the won ID was banned, perhaps Rob can shed some more light on this if he has the time. It is a shame when some cheater ruins things for others. They effect innocent lives in so many different ways. Bottom line is someone using that ID was banned from TV2 at some time by the cheat detection software. I'm sure if it was your friend he'd remember that, so it doesn't look like it was just for bad attitude at least.

He's able to play on all other servers, so it's more than likely not something he said. I doubt if he would've said something anyway. He got all of those kills while at my house last Friday night. BTW, I'm trying to make TFC avi from what we did that night.

Oh, and if he did say something I'll personally go over to his house and wash his mouth out with soap

Someone must have with DoD, cause I dont even play DoD, I do have it though cause I run a dod server myself. (not to mention a bunch of other servers, and with hlguard, and im clean on them)

I admit I tried a cheat long time ago, it did not help me so I deleted it, but never knew about the theville back then, so I dont think its that, since then I have must have formated both hds at least 6-7 times. (and I am thinking about doing a format once again)

Since the won ID isn't in the TFC auto ban log, I can only assume it happend when the server was DOD. If no admin objects I will unban the won ID on TV2 tomorrow.
