1.1.0.9 Problems

If you are having probs getting it to work this solved my problems. Get the full update (all 80mb of it) and it worked. The small patch just messed me up.

I have never updated using patches. I ALWAYS use the full update. Never had a problem. Although I haven't done it yet, I will when I get home from work tonight. *crosses fingers and toes*

BTW. I recommend using the darkclown FTP link on the Home page. It is the most stable and fastest.

My box updated fine with the patch but I had to download the full to upgrade Mom. It seems if it goes wrong at all, it sets the version back to 1005 and then won't let you patch it.

3 minutes and 45 seconds on TheVille.Org FTP server 80MB full upgrade patch.

The problem I'm getting is that it corrupted my favorites.dat file and it freezes Half-Life every time I exit a multiplayer game.

Old man you froze leaving the game I froze 2 mins into the game, untill I got the full upgrade (i spend money to get it too lol from fileplanet.com).

I have now d/l the entire 80M file, blown out the old HL install, and re-installed everything to get to....

The same frigging place.

I have no sound inside TFC (the little clicks when you select a menu option.) AND it blows me completely out of TFC when I try and join a game.

Anyone got any ideas????
