Well atleast tahts what i think happen something with new patch maybe..i got some error on tfc restart my computer it stopped befor windows loaded and Said
VMM32.VXD is required to run windows
If this file is not in your path, you may need to reinstall windows..
Well i thought good all i gotta do is reinstall on top of windows and i will get to keep ALL MY SHIT...well started to reinstall and it prompts me saying you need to get the UPDATE for friggin Windows98 ..wtf is that shit so i had to reformat which sux....

VMM32.VXD if I recall correctly is a stack of basic drivers
and other core software for windows. So you most definitely need
a re-install, but I don't see how the TFC patch could cause that file to
vanish.

Doesn't have to make it vanish. All it has to do is remove the reference from you path statement. I don't have TFC on any Win9x machines so I can't say what the patch can and can't do to your startup files. |

I had to reinstall IE after the update. It made everything on some sites black. I couldn't see anything except banners. It also locked up several main functions and crashes my computer once in a while. |

Uh, no. VXDs and such are not found using the PATH enviroment
variable. Very few non-dos programs use PATH at all. In the case of
VMM32.VXD I believe it's just 'expected' to be in
bootdrive:\windows\system. |
