1.1.0.9 update problems!

Hi guys, hey i just updated to the new patch and i realized that when i play on the ville, my sky is just one big cube, its like "Playing the ville in a box" heheheh It kind of bothers me, if i turn a hair to the left it will have nice clouds and other angles i get the box!! Can anyone help?

I had many many probs with the update. I ended up copying my maps folder, gfx and sounds and then deleting the entire Sierra folders. I then reinstalled off of the cd and then upgrade using the full upgrade.

Then I move my custom stuff back.

It is the only way that it would even work for me.

Are you sure you extracted the files to the correct folder? They go in Sierra/Halflife/tfc/gfx/env.

Only one bug left with 1109, and it is killing me !!! Maybe someone has fixed a similar problem...

It is with my voice transmittal. I can hear other's voice, and when I push the transmit button, I can see my little speaker icon. However, I am not transmitting speech. I know the cause, but not the fix !!!

TFC is selecting my microphone #2 (I don't have one) to use to record sound. After it has done this, to use my microphone (I test it using sound recorder), I have to go to control panel , Sounds and Audio Devices, Audio tab, and re-select the microphone #1 to record sound.

Any help offered ??? I use WinXP Pro btw.

The one thing that happens to me everytime I use the Tweak that comes with HL is that it mutes my mic. Even though I can still hear me, it is muted. Check your task bar next to your clock. Double click the icon for volume. Make sure there is not a check mark in the *mute* box for your mic. I have WinXP HE.

Ive just come to conclude that this new patch does not agree with my computer what so ever, it will lock up all the time when im done playing the game, and when i exit out of that map to go to the menu it gets all distored and words are shifted all over the place, and on top of this all I get improper shutdowns if i shut down right after playing the game!

Dominator, maybe you could give some system specs so we could help you a litle more, As in what Windows you use, Your Processor, and your graphics card name.

i've had a few problems two

i have the exact same thing as dom -- i got the cube thing

another thing is that when i leave multiplayer it takes a good 30 seconds for the main menu to re-appear -- its as if it has froze but then tthe menu appears after around 30 seconds

anyone else have the same prob.

anyone now a fix that works

P.S. dom i will be if theville.org 111 server over the weakend -- if i can get in that is -- its so buisy
