Oops lol the one with the SEASON TICKET holders suing the NHL because they got hit by an errant puck. If they go to games enough to own season tickets then im sure they have heard over a million times to watch out for flying pucks, the anouncers say it, its posted everywhere in the United center, its on the tickets programs etc. It just seems like someone taking advantage of a situation to try to make some money without doing anything, which Irritates me because I cant stand people who try to sue at every thing, Now granted she had to have emergency surgery because of it which is crappy but come on, do they really need to sue because of it?

In health class we had some sue happy weirdo come in and lecture us. I made it a point to make fun of and mock everything she said. I think I did accomplish my goal

And on the puck thing, you did hear about the girl getting killed, right? I mean she was like 14 or something and got cracked in the head with a puck and died. I'm not a big hockey fan, so maybe I'm missing something. But why can't they put like strong plexiglass on TOP of the rink with holes in it so you can still hear the sound?

Well this is why I support Neil Boortz's idea of the Looser-pay system. If you are going to sue somebody you would have to take into account the posssilbility of losing. and if you do you pay the fees to the defendent. Thus this would hopefully cut down on this sue happy environment.
