1.1.0.8 = 1.0.0.5????

HELP ME!!! When I installed 1.1.0.8, it somehow reverted my HL to 1.0.0.5. WTF IS UP WITH THAT???????????????/

Try uninstalling HL, reinstalling it and download and install the full upgrade. I'm sure this will take care of any problems.

Lance mine has the same prob but it is 1.0.0.8 it just says that it is 1.0.0.5. Its F'ed up

It's a Valve problem. Some have this problem, some don't. I would un-install HL and reinstall it with the full update.

The same thing happened to me. all i did was reinstall hl and dl the update from the ville and it worked.

When I have problems with half life I dont uninstall I install over old. sometimes I may lose my key binding but I havn't lost custom maps yet
