I use Windows 2000 Professional and Advanced Server. I also like NT 4.0. I hate 98 and am not the biggest fan of XP Home Edition, but XP Professional aint that bad (based off of 2000 Pro).

2000 Pro is great for gaming and very very very stable.

After much video card strife with Windows 2000 (great OS, don't get me wrong,it just didn't like my vid card) I am now using WinXP.

Its quite attractive, and rather stable, I must say.

I use Winxp pro edition. It's actually quite nice as soon as you get rid of the default "luna" theme. I no longer feel like I'm taking a trip to sesame street when I get on my computer.

I use Win98SE. Probably won't upgrade to XP for a long time. (Don't like some of the new "features" and yes I have tried is some. Go ahead and flame me over XP now. ) Have used Win2000Pro quite a bit and it is really nice (have it on the laptop at work.)

As for stability, my Win98 has not crashed in over 5 months, and the last time it crashed I did something stupid (accidently unplugged a USB device in use--doh!) Some of my students with XP say they have terrible problems with it locking up or rebooting (??hearsay, no experience with this myself??).

We use XP (hate where its taking us) they were not going to give us usage of XP office because we waited 2 months to put it on. Had to get a supervisor to give us permission.
If you want them to control your computers fate jump in. Eventually we wont have any software it will be provided and controled by others.
I also hate the recovery feature that loses all the desktop information.
I use 98 for my gaming computer.
Millimimun is on the laptop.
Maybe Ill try 2000 sounds better than 98. I may have a copy of it around here somewhere.

Haven't had much experience with XP. What I have seen, not a big fan of it. I am with Rob, 2000 all the way. I ahve used it for over a year, and it really never crashes. I also have it on all of my Servers.

And all of this Microsoft support is coming from a certified Novell guy. Ha.

I use both Win2k and 98se on my main box. Was thinking of installing XP on my third partition just to see how I like it but dont wanna fork out the $$ right now. Im just too happy with Win2k. Only time I have crashes is when I push my OC too high.

On my main PCs I use NT4.0 on 2, 2000 Pro on my laptop, and Win98 on an old 500mhz that the family uses.

Ive used XP since the day it came out and Ive never locked up, crashed or had any kind of performance issues. as far as the rest of the MS OS's go, 2k rock 98 was ok if not pushed to hard, but ME (Mostly Evil), dont get me started on that OS, If you gave me the choice to go back to 3.1 or ME I would take 3.1 hands down. ok maybe not but it still sucks horribly.

Did I ever tell you all that my Windows 3.11 Pentium 90 sytem rocks!

Its the fastest gaming system ever!!!

TFC works great on it, now if there was a way that I didnt need a GUI and could play TFC from DOS I would be even happier!
