Here is a good site to lower your ping. Make your game run smoother with better fps. Change back to pre-patch settings and so forth. Check it out. Made by Ai|Danger.

Well, it didn't really help much, but that's probably not the fault of the settings, my ping goes from about 40-400+ seemingly randomly, so I wouldn't take my experience as a definitive judgement of the tweaking.

Well, I tweaked and went into a game under another name for a brief period of time. I noticed that when everyone else's ping got high mine stayed relatively low. Mine usually does though. But, it did seem as though I was running a little more smoothly. During my brief stay I was 29 - 8 (I think). In fact, it was on The Ville III. It was funny because I was kicking their butts as a HW and it ticked them off to the point that they did a kick vote. I don't know if it was because of the settings or if it is because I rock.

I think the settings did help to improve my game. (oh yeah, the vote failed.

Actually Snag, I made a special deal with an ISP from Wisconsin, since they said they're the best in that whole state!

Nah, it's a shared connection, when I'm pinging 400, it's overloaded... not much I can do, except spend money I don't have on something different *shrug*
