Why does everyone hate HW's?

I know they're a simple class to use, or if you prefer a noob class, and I know they can be annoying at times. But why must people whine about it. I play HW because I think it's fun, I play snipe and engy for the same reasons. I'm just tired of people crying about being ripped to shreds by fat-ass. I don't complain about being infected, which is a 1000 more times annoying than any HW can be. Or being launched in the air by a well placed rocket, or even getting nailed in the head by SVVORD all day. I have to say that it's never a regular that complains.

Sorry, just had a bad day and hat to vent for a second

It's not being an hw guy that's bad... It's in a small game (under 10 or so) and then you have two hw guys at a time attacking. I've had to fight 2 hws alone before. That's when it's extremely lame.

Any time hw guy is used for attacking is lame. They are meant for defense.

You've kind of answered your own question there. I know I don't, I somethimes play HWGuy for fun, no biggy.

That is what I do when someone says, *I hate HW guys, they are so gay!* I whoop dat ass and show them just how gay I really am!!!

But, there is no getting around it... someone is always complaining about one class or another. Oh well.

I find the people that complain about a class generally have no idea how to stop that class. I personally only complain about the spy, but never in the game, unless of course the spy is Frag

I must say that when I go to servers with no class limits I don't enjoy going against an all HW review, but here at the Ville they serve a usefull purpose and I will almost always go HW if the other side has 2 and we have none.

Just consider the source....Some newb who has no clue how to handle a HW

I don't complain about them, but I DO think that they are amazingly stacked. 100 health AND 300 armor?!? I mean come on.. at least drop the armor to 200. I've played a little hw and I have to say I just don't find it fun.. it's not really a challenge. Remember, this is from someone that is NOT a noob, and DOES know how to take one down. (concs work wonderful all you medics out there-use them)

I think HWGUYs are a useful and important part of the game because they require teamwork to defeat. A scout VS a HWGUY is gonna be ugly, but if your team kills the HWGUY right when the scout gets to the cap point, it's a sweet cap. HWGUYs are really strong, but they make up for it by being slow moving oafs.

Hehe. A sniper can really pick a part a HWGUY, even if he only shoots him in the body. A spy VS a HWGUY is a fair fight, exp. if the spy can work in behind the HWGUY. And a Solly VS HWGUY is a win most of the time for the Solly. They're not undefeatable, just require skill to take down.

Oh, and medics, save those conc to jump past guns, use the SNG on those HWGUYs (and hope they can't handle circle strafing).

You guys wonder why there are not that many good HWGs? I think it's because when the n00b realizes that there are other classes he never turns back. That's not a bad thing, I think the other classes are a lot more fun than HW. Not saying HW is easy just not that exciting enough for me. I think soldier and demoman are the most intense classes.

i don't get it, if anyone wants to complain about HW why don't they complain about ENG too if two of them add up there will be two sg plus two mg and if both mg is tesla they are unstoppable

Hell, probably the best thing to do, is conc them, infect them, and run like hell. But it's always so satisfying to nail an HW to death. Gives ya a good feeling inside.

On a different note, HWGUYs are a nessasary evil. If the enemy team has two HWGUYs and you have none, you'll either be stuck in respawn, or getting ran through on defense. Maybe not the most exciting class to play, but one that is important to your team's sucess.
