Why am i Lagging in DoD?

I want to know if anyone knows why my comp is lagging in Avalanche and Dog1! i have a geforce2, 512 RAM and cable but STILL i lag! anyone with tips would help.

From what I have been told in other post in the DOD forum is that there is a video conflict and you need to get the lastest video driver. Also Rob suggested typing this into the console: hsound 0. This will take some lag out caused by certain map sounds, but it also disrupts some of the sound as well.

This is all supposedly being fixed in the next DoD patch. Which is supposedly gonna be out soon.

DOD 2.0 is just a laggy mod.As Rob said 2.1 will fix this and is coming out soon.
