What is a breakfast sponge? A breakfast is any breakfast food that acts as a sponge for sugar or syrup, i.e. doughnuts, waffles, pancakes.
So which sponge do you prefer?
1. Doughnuts
2. Pancakes
3. Waffles

I'd have to go with pancakes. Not just any pancakes though (not the yucky ones you can buy out). But, the ones you have to get up early and make the batter. Ummm....makes my mouth just water....

Will have to go with a nice glazed from the local, "BUCKEYE DONUTS", open 24 hours, great fresh donuts, and best of all, its less than a block away from my dorm. mmmmmmm
I am partial to dipping my sponge into a cup of piping hot coffee with sugar and cream.
Drat, I wanted to post a picture of that fabulous establishment, but I was unable to unearth one.
