Voting on Maps

We have this option on 3 so the people are able to vote a map in, right?

So when the people vote in dustbowl, and an admin doesn't like that map he has the right to change the map? I understand some may not like the map because with NEO it becomes unfair. But some times Avanti gets just as unfair with NEO as dustbowl.
When I see the majortity of people want a certain map I help them out so they can have fun.

So if an admin doesn't like the map and decides to change it why even have the map vote?

I am not trying to blame anyone I was just curious. Thanks.

yea it does somewhat defeat the democratic purpose. IMHO i would like to see map voting on 5 i love the map rotation, don't get me wrong but variety is the spice of life and it'd be nice to frag some of you guys in unfamiliar surroundings.

I'd like to see voting on 5 for the opposite reason, I hate the rotation, but when I come home from school no one is on TV6, and I hate newby-tf.

I'm going to go ahead and guess that you meant to write that you hate Newby-TF and I completely feel you on that one. That spammarific-multigay-antithis&that just gets on my nerves these day and I avoid 3 and 4 like the plague because of it.

Well I was a little too inclusive in my saying that I liked the rotation on 5. I actualy hate well, but I think I've mentioned that more times than I can count now.

I'd reall like to play some of you guys on a couple of my favorites, like flagrun, or rock2. Yes I'm a little weird for liking those, but oh well. I think they rock (no pun intended) and I'd love to gas some of you pansies,

I hate Rock2. That map is more frustrating than Dustbowl to be losing on. Oh, I love Well. It's one of the most even maps around, lots of fun places to snipe and conc and just have a good time.

Another map vote was started and the map changed to Dustbowl. The Bada MAN then kicked some Butt on that map.

Yup, No vote though you changed it flat out. Our engy sucked, so it was no suprise you kicked our ass. See dustbowl isn't that bad.

Eagle was talking about a when the server was full and then dustbowl is impossible to cap against a halfway decent team.6 on 6 or 7 on 7 is one thing but on a full server it's a bad joke.I also think on the Neo servers a limit of one hw and one medic is sorely needed.If you have two anti-grenade pods airstrikes won't even work to clear the defense and secondary nades have no chance of killing sgs or mgs.

Well, you should come to 3 more often. Whenever I'm on, I always do a map vote for Flagrun, and it usually always gets on.

Its one of my favourite maps, and I really, strongly recommend that it is put onto a map rotation on one of the servers. PLEASE!!!

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

Are you talking about when the server was running flagrun? That the mapvote for dustbowl lost. I dont know how it changed. I put it back. The next 3 times dustbowl was voted on which came in one minute increments it was voted on and lost again and again and again. I told "you?" someone in game that the map vote had failed.
It seems funny that the map changed in the first place. I watched the vote and it was a solid 2 vote. Then before the map vote says failed or sussesfull it changed.
As a admin I would never change something that was voted on. I did what I saw as fair in a unfair situation.
