Server Connection

I've been having trouble connecting to Avanti 2 and now Avanti 3. I went to take a leak and when I returned I had been kicked for sitting idle. No problem because I was just disconnected from the server I thought.

Whenever I try to connect to either Avanti 2 or 3 now, the first box that pops up after double clicking or "Join Game" says"Requesting Server Information". It counts to 10 seconds and then another window pops up and I read "Could Not Connect To The Ville.org".

In short, I was booted from spawn camping in Avanti 1 and although I thought I had grown from "newbie status" experience, I now have no Avanti. This really sucks.

Accordingly, if anyone can offer up some advice to get back in the game, I would really appreciate it.

Hmmmm. Cant say whats up, I know that TV2 has been up and down all weekend.

You are aware that the servers are not 7/24? They come up at 5:30ish CST and are gone again at 8:00ish the next morning?

That might help I hope.

Thank you for your quick response JD. I am pleased to say that for reasons unkown, I am able to caonnect to Avanti 3 again. Although I have not been able to get on to Avanti 2 for perhaps as long as a couple of months. Will have to keep my fingers crossed that someone knows the answer.

Not sure how you are trying to connect but if it is through the favorites, the IPs may be different than the last time you played. I would remove the Ville I and II from your favorites and then add them back in.

The Ville I is now 66.35.137.251
The Ville II is 66.35.137.250

Thank you Cy Co Dad. I put in the IP for Avanti 2 and was able to successfully log on to that server. The forum works again.

can somebody post TVIII IP address. It somehow with everything else disappeared out my favorites and I can't get it back. Damn patches. I thought there purpose was to fix past problems annd add enchancments. Some of this guys at valve must be Microsoft rejects. Or has Microsoft taken over Valve.Hhhhmmmm

Now that I have successfully fixed The Ville 2 with the much appreciated help of forum readers, Ville 3 will not connect. Same problem as outlined at the top with regard to messages appearing. This is getting bloody frustrating. Accordingly, if anyone has an idea please post.
