Other Games

Are these games worth buying? I'm considering buying one or more of the following:

Tribes
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Delta Force
Black & White

No more are coming to me right now, but if anyone has any experience with these games, are they worth it? Or...could someone refer me to some (fairly new) PC games that they really like. Thanks.

Oh by the way, Half-Life will still always be the best.

I have Wolfenstein and Black and White. Wolfenstein is a pretty demanding game, and it really isn't playable on my computer. Make sure you have the requirements that are stated on the box. Black and White is freakin awesome. It is also a demanding game, but I can play it on my AMD K6. The only problem is I got stuck on a level (the one with fireballs constantly flying toward your village) and it lost it's magic. If you buy the manual I think you will really enjoy Black and White.

I've also been on a Max Payne kick lately, fun game..great effects and a good story. I'm also waiting to buy WarCraft 3 and Grand Theft Auto, only another month or so on the latter I've been told

I just stayed in the level before that and trained my creature. I left the game running every night for a week and he started to learn to take care of himself. Of course, he got really evil too. He ended up eating nearly all my villagers because he had no other food. But he learned all the spells and I went through the fireball level really fast. Didn't even worry about my village, just used the creature

I taught him to hate me. He threw tantrums and destroyed my whole village, so I sent him to his "room" (his enclosed yard in the temple) and placed a bunch of rocks around it to barricade him inside. I only gave him a bit of food, and gave him a rock as a toy. I left him there for a couple weeks, so that I could build an "uber-city" after that, I unleashed him upon my city. With the strength that he built up after a couple weeks of playing with a rock, he kicked down the barricade around the temple and ran like a psycho to the village. It was incredible. He set the whole place on fire!

Does Tribes or Black and White or any of those games have some kind of monthly fee you have to pay to play (like Everquest). If so then I wont be getting them.

I've never played Tibes, but I got Black and White, it is a great game, and no, you don't have to pay any monthly fees.

And Avenger, your a physco

All you Americans, is Metal Gear Solid out there yet?? If so, is it any good?

b and W is INSANELY fun for the first 50 hours you are up straight playing it.

Then i never touched it again lol.
