Like their on TV2, so you cant look them up in stats? I have screenshots of a guy being racist and insulting, but I cant get his id cause hes not in stats...

Type that into the console

Typing status into the console is what you have to do but I fint it a pain to type it then write it down while the console is scrolling. So I type status then condump that way it saves whats in the console(including the status info) to condump.txt in my tfc directory.

So just typing condump will automatically dump everything that is in console into a text file? On another note, does anyone know how to get my console working in the game. I have the "-console" in my shortcut line, but ever since (maybe a little before, I dunno) I installed DOD it hasn't worked. Thanks.

I have cs Retail if that helps anyone think about why my console might have died on me. Surely someone else has had a similar problem. Please help me!!!

Torak,
Go into your tfc or whatever mod you want to enable the console's directory. Open up Config.cfg, and add the line: Bind "[Key]" toggleconsole

Type it with the quotes, and just replace [key] with whatever key you want to use for your console.

Also, make sure you have this in your config file

console "1"
That's what makes the console "on"

Thanks, my problem is now semi-solved. I can now get the console down. But, hitting the same key again will not take the bloody thing back up. I guess I'll have to alias so that it'll change toggleconsole 0 & 1 to switch with each other when I hit the bound key. Thanks for your help.

you'll want to change it to +toggleconsole so it works both ways

Doesn't Escape bring it down? I have my console bound to my "-" key because my tilde won't work, I can open it with the "-" key but I need to close it with esc.

Yeah, but I'm careful about when I hit the Esc key because I sometimes hit it twice and exit the server and lose my sound.

Just go to Stats, type in a random letter press enter. now click where it says "Clan Names" and choose Player Names. type in your name where the random number was. Search and you'll find it
