Ya, but who wants to deal with Water Cooling. Says if you want to OC with air cooling you'll need a special cpu from intel and even tom's couldnt get one. I'll stick to my AMD, fill the bridges and raise the multiplyer.

Hey look guys, you can overclock a P4, to run a little faster than an AMD XP, and well, probably overclock the XP the same way and have it beat the shit out of the crappy P4s again. AMDs kick ass!

Just started playing with one of these nice processors. Got myself a 1.6a Northwood. Overclocked from 1.6 to 2328.06 with retail fan. No water, retail heatsink and fan. Stable as can be at about 38c-40c under full load.

System bus is at 582.02 and System clock is at 145.50 Zooooomm.. Still have some more settings to play with.

Yeah.. I know all about AMD and their speed. I have a couple Tbirds also. I think both processors have good and bad points. But $160 (at the time) for a processor that can get you over 2.3 with my current DDR memory.. I like it. And numbers don't lie and i'm loving the numbers Its nice when a retail 2.2 northwood is over $600 and I just got the same speed for.. $160!

(I did pick up a abit bd7 raid too which cost me 140.)

Nice OC, I guess that MB must have some PCI dividers in it to be stable with pumping up the FSB like that. My puney 1.1 tbird will run to about 1.36 stable but thats about it. I'm starting to feel I need an upgrade..hehe
