Computer FAQ

Roofie brought this up in another thread and I think it is a good idea, so I thought I would bring it up here.

How about a Computer FAQ forum?

People could talk about anything related to their computers including hardware, software, configs, etc.

This would provide for a nice place to converse about these issues without having to scroll through endless general ramblings, for example. It would also make future referencing of the discussed issues more expeditious.

(hehe, I used a big word)

hehe, it's fun to be generic. The possiblities are endless.. I mean how often to hear the word Whybkuul come up in conversation. I bet that I have the most mentioned name on this site!

I think that having a computer thread would be an awsome ideal. Would Computer get to be the moderator? (hehe...or would it just be named in his honor?)

Fabulous Idea Hoax. I mean, I do believe that this website and group of people is becoming quite a COMMUNITY not just a group of TFC people, but a group of friends. I think that expanding the forum by adding non-HL topics like a computer FAQ is a definite step in the right direction.

hooray for the new section. I know what your saying about this not just being a group of people that I play TFC with these people are friends of mine and I like to discuss things other than just TFC and general ramblings just seems a little too catch all. (and how could I not like have a section with my name, in my honor

Maybe we could call it Hardware/Software FAQ instead, that way we wouldn't feel obligated to make fun of Computer when we posted.

It will be the "Computer and You" and it will be all about who i affect your life and how much better it has becoem as a result of me.

Besides the total rules out all need for me to be a moderator if you take the word computer out of the title. and we can't have that, i must keep hope alive!

Yeah, I'd say that's a good idea, it'd give all of us techie-geeks a place to brag about how we fixed Windoze XP with some chewed up gum and a paper clip!
