overflow

Ever since this new patch, I keep getting this "overflow" message in the console. I get booted off the server, then it puts me in the console. And that's where I see this: {BGS}JEDI:Overflow. Along with the rest of the stuff that was going on before. I last about 30 sec on the server then get the boot. I also tried to get on another server and received the same problem. I also tried restarting my system. Can anyone help?

I had to do a full reinstall and a full 77 MB patch install to get mine to work.

There was also another thread that said there were some issues with using Open GL.

The thread name was 1.1.0.8 .... HELP! in the FAQ section.

Thanks Axis. That thread helped alot. And for the ppl who are also experiencing the same problem. Go to where Axis recommended in the message b4 this one.

To avoid overflow, I had to run direct 3d video, rathter than Open GL. I have an ATI radeon card. Robert passed on to me that there is a known conflict with this card and Open GL. Had several one-minute games before I found out.

I agree, I run D3D and rarely get any problems. Sometimes on acropolis 2 the textures look all warped though.

I think that is a known problem with ATI card. I believe ATI put out a patch for Half Life.
