Well I think I finally figured these things out. For those that haven't, here's how it works.

On a map like Caen2 it's pretty simple, you find little TNT packs in your spawn, run over it to pick it up, then you see you have it as a little icon in your HUD. You can run around to various places on the map where you see cracks in the wall. As you step up to it, if it's a target you can bomb you will see a message that you're setting a bomb. If it's a target that only the other team can blow up, it will flash "Axis/Allied target" in your HUD and nothing will happen. If you back up you'll see big red numbers counting down - RUN AWAY or you'll be part of the scenery!

With the bangalores on Dog1, Allied forces find them on the beach with the remnants of other soldiers. Like the TNT you'll get it "in your hands" as you run over it. I believe you need two of them to blow the seawall where the sand looks like a grayish "V" shape.

how do you blow up the artilery thing in dog one? or one of the beach maps?
