I've already posted this in the TVB forum but I thought you would all like to see these. These are screenshots from the Half-Life mod "Vampire Slayer". They just released the third version and it looks great. The mod is totally free and you can get it at http://www.planethalf-life.com/vampire/

Yes it's multiplayer. The teamwork involved is amazing. As a slayer, you must stay with your group or you are vamp bait! As a vampire, attacking in groups is just the way to go!

Vampires have abilities like slash/jump, kinda like the neo jump for pyro and "heatsight". The slayers have crossbow, uzi's, shotgun, wooden stake and handgun, etc Give it a look, it's free!

A little hint: The slash/jump is done just like the superjump in DM. Hit crouch immediately followed by jump and the direction. You will launch forward really fast! To feed on the dead (to gain life) just crouch over the dead body and hit the "use" button!

It's a funny @ss game!

KRG, sorry but I edited the post to remove the links to the .bmps

Get them edited and converted to .jpg so that they will be much more internet friendly please.

If you cant convert them then let me know and I will get you to send them to me and I will convert them for you.

It would be very much preferred if you would convert the images to jpg format rather than leaving them at bmp... Even on my dsl the download takes forever.

Sorry 'bout that people! Forgot Ktulu hooked me up with a coverter. I replaced them with jpg's!

Hope that helps your d-load time. Check out the mod, there are many servers out there for it now. Many even run anti-cheat software! So check it out.

Okay, when I saw the topic *Free Fun,* this was not what I expected to find.

But while I am here...

Is that something that is a TFc map or a HL map? It looks really neat and sounds fun.

Hoax, it is a Half-Life modification. Just like TFC is a half-life mod. There are many different mods out there but not all are good. These are screenshots from just one of the new maps in the Vampire Slayer mod.

OMG thanks KRG. I just downloaded it and tried it out and it's awesome. Wow everybody should download this...NOW!

Oh by the way, is it possible for the servers to run other mods besides TFC and switch back and forth between mods or is that too much work? Cuz it would rule if the ville would run this

Ok KRG I got into a game. Boy do you have to be quick. Whos whos is confusing at first, its a lot like the counterstrike format I think. Tried quickstart first no luck had to scroll down til I found a server open.

Switching between mods on a server is tough. Usually requires a reboot. Blue, you have to be real fast! If you are good with spy, the vamp is your way to go. Slashes in the back of the head kill instantly! Mollie can take your vamp but out in one shot though! As a vamp you can resurrect automatically after like 10 sec. Unless a slayer stabs you with a stake, then your screwed! MUAHAHAHA! have fun!

I just tried it out, and it's waaay to fast paced for me. You hardly have time to think before you're slashed and dead. I think I'll stick with the more war based mods.
