Ok, I just finished playing a round of avanti on TV1, and was very pissed. The engineers on my team were, IMO completely stupid. Now can someone please tell me why anyone would possible want to build an sg near CP2 when the gates open, or in the church when the enemy team is having a tough time at CP3? The other team needs to wait to get the flag anyway, so those sgs wouldn't be holding off any quick attacks. So, can anyone tell me an honest reason to build sgs there? |

Well its a whole lot easier to get a level 3 SG up when there aren't any enemies around. Sometimes having a full SG at the back lines up and ready when the previous point is capped can really help the D regroup at the next point. More than 1 SG using this strategy is overkill though.

And don't forget, there are a lot of newbies popping in. And lots of people who are just learning to be engies. There is a way to help them out, nicely. I remember playing one time with all newbie engies. They were very eager to take suggestions. Every time I told them to move up, they did. Remember when you were new?
