Heh sometimes dont know quiet how to take things.....and then sometimes talking about it helps.I dont expect a response to this post but just putting it in the open takes the sting away.

My brother was deployed to the arabian sea at 7:00am this morning for active duty....Its just me and my Bro he's my only one and news like this crushes me..Never thought the day would come when it would be him on the ship out.im only 20 but man to have someone like your only brother go like that is enough to bring even the strongest of men to their knee's.Thats my best friend and my brother and what he is doing isnt just for my well being but he is doing this to protect every right i and every american has as a free person and im proud to have a brother like that...I wont see him again for 9months.....I can only hope that the 9months to come doesnt take him away......

We all feel a strong sense of graditude and respect for the ones who put their lives and dreams on the line for all of us to enjoy our freedoms.
Some of us have already done our time and some have tasted battle.
Waiting is hard and the nature of that region is certainy in turmoil.
I hope his tour remains "routine" and he and all our sons and daughters comes home safe.

For what people in the armed forces are risking, (even at home during training), they are so under paid...its a shame that during the good times they go unappreciate by most americans that they are here to defend...

Good luck to your bro...hopefully 9 months will zip by and he will be home with all kinds of stories...
