droool....
I just got my new VisionTek GeForce3 Ti500. I am installing it this weekend, and after that you won't be able to recognize my triple-interlacing, heavily pixellated mug. Err, well maybe not, but it'll be sweet.

Is it involuntary patience or deliberate self-infliction of pain upon yourself to have to wait till this weekend?? I'd be installing it RIGHT NOW!!!!! But that's just me....

The delay is based on bad experiences. It seems like for a good while, every time I cracked open my computer case, things would get so screwed up that I would be out of a computer for a week or two. Also, I didn't want to get halfway through and have my wife start bugging me to do something. I love her, but she has an uncanny sense of timing for screwing up my plans.
But, as soon as I log off here and get some caffeine.... that baby is going in pronto!

My solution to this problem:
Buy an x box.
Buy some games.
Beat those games.
Take your video card out of the box and put it in MY computer.
Better yet, just take your computer.
Buy myself a better computer since I decided that I don't like yours anymore.
All with your money.

Is there really a better gaming experience with a GeForce3 verses a GeForce2 with 64megs? What I'm asking is it worth it to ditch my GeForce2 for a GeForce3. Thanks |

I can't say if its worth the money to you but for me I was disappointed with the 2 I returned it and got a 3.
My benches went from 2700ish to 6767.
As far as TFC playing on a 2 or 3 I'm not sure, Killer has my old G400 matrox and it plays tfc just fine. So maybe the money spent is not worth it.
By the way the matrox is a much better video card than this nvida 3. It may be faster but the matrox has much better features that work very well. I guess its kind of like the differnce from a sports car to a luxury car. The sports car is nice fun and fast, but the luxury car is so comfortable and it still gets you there just fine. |

Roof, I also have a G400 (no max) and I was holding out for a G3. You say I should just hold on to the G400? |
