Well, right after the crowbar wars a week ago we went into a game of Avanti low grav. I had a nice SG running in the church, but a player brought the flag in by the back and nearly capped it. My SG cut him down. I then noticed where the flag had landed and couldnt figure out why it wasn't a cap.

What do you think, should this have been a cap of command point 4?

Actually the cap point is looking for the player who has possesion of the flag, not just the flag itself.

I took a similar screen shot of Epicenter a couple days ago:

If the flag and a player touch the point at thwe same time it's a cap.

I thought that the flag lands where you are killed. There have been many times that while going after cp2, I get knocked of the ledge by a soldier, or an sg, and I die. I land at the bottom, and I always think "damn, my team is going to have a hell of a time getting back up there". But when I go back for it, it is still on the ledge, where I died, not where my body lands. So if the flag was on the cp, the person wouldve had to be on it. The flag always falls from your hands straight up, not diaonal. Right?

Yea that is right you don't have the flag follow you till you hit it just falls right where you died not where your body lands then if you had to cap on a cliff you would have a big time of trouble getting back up So the flag will fall straight down right when you die. or in this case is it a
