Seeing as the friends feature of steam has now gone officially live, I figured this could be a good way of keep those who play dod:s in touch so we can join en masse and jump start the server.

My usename is gr33bo (can't remember the email I use but I'll find it soon enough).

A few of us have been using the friends net for some time and it works well for us. I think there are about 6 peeps on my list. No one has had any problems that I know of. My log in is " lturley3494@charter.net " .

The Problem of not getting the server full might be solved by the Friends finally working. When a good number of us get on, someone just jump on the server and just send some messages to get everyone else.

I think I like XFire better, though. There's more features and it incorporates other games, too.
