How the **** Do you install DoD: Source!

Alrighty...so...I just got DoD:S about an hour or so ago...and I'm trying to install it.

First off, what does it do?

Installs a new copy of Steam (WTF?!) Then it proceeds to install itself to the new steam directory, without telling me that it's going to do that!

So...I back up a few paces...force install the "new steam" into the old steam directory that I've already got...and then I install DoD: S.

I try booting up DoD: S...and it hangs...And trying to open up just Steam doesn't work!

WTF!

I'm in desperate need of some counciling...cause...f*** I want to play my new game...

Anyone help?

Yes...I can have it point to another steam folder...but it stills messes up...

...Bah...screw it...I'm purging steam...starting from scratch...

Might be able to update Steam at college...probably do it on friday...or monday...getting a 40 gig drive..so...that should fix everything...hopefully...
