So what do people do when they join a game.....?
Do they rely on AutoAssign or do they go hell-bent to get the team of their choice?.

I join based on the players. The people are what make me enjoy the game, so I try to join up with people I like.

For me it mostly depends on the map or the number of players on each team.

can you add the option "what weapon you prefer on the map"

thats how i usually choose. for example on sturm i enjoy playing allies cause its a good map for the garand. and another example on harrington i join allies cause i love holding middle house with a sniper rifle

On Flash and Avalanche I like to be axis. Sturm, Saints, and Kalt I like allies. I just hate being the British, I don't like their weapons. The Sten is too funky. On the Bren model the sights are set wrong, like for 200 meters. No wonder I can't hit with it. It just bugs me because the skin is wrong.

I usually join a side depending on the map, I've got my preferences. Like on kalt i like axis, sturm=allies, donner=axis, saints=allies. Unless teams are uneven then i just join the other team.

I pretty much always hit auto-assign. But I think it should be renamed to auto-axis!
