steam ID #

Every time i try to connect to the sever it says that the server can't find my steam ID or it can't authinicate my ID...Anyone know why.. I have tried to restart steam, and restart my computer...and nothing seems to be working....Any ideas?

sounds like steam just being itself. Theres probably not much that you can do about it until it fixes itself, but I would check steam support/forums.

log out of steam and back in.

Yeah, I had to go to setting to logout and then log in again to fix it.

or another way is to delete the clientregistry.blob file in c:\program file\steam although logging out and in is the same thing...!

ya delete the clientregistery file it worked for me..i had the same problem

had the same problem.. I logged into another server then back to where I was trying to go. Works for me.. #Beer

Logged out on steam then back in. Problem fixed.
