A CNN reporter expecting an emotional response while interviewing
a Marine sniper asked,
"What do you feel when you shoot a terrorist."
The Marine shrugged and replied,
"Recoil"
lol comes from a freind of mine serving in iraq . _________________ http://www.myspace.com/redskin01

Must be neat to just kill and not feel anything. They must be soul-less. _________________

I'm sure they fell something, but most of it is probably isn't bad if the person deserved it. _________________ R.I.P. Blue |

Maybe more to the point, is if you were a sniper and you were serving your country and doing something that while you believed was necessary but still upset you... the last person in the freakin WORLD you would talk about it with would be a CNN reporter. I mean seriously. Covering any mixed emotions you had with a joke isn't really evidence that you don't have feelings. |

Well I can tell you from serving in Iraq during Shield/Storm and having fired the M82A1 Barrett that you are emotionless no matter what the situation is.
I loved the quote because it is typical Marine.
I can also tell you that in that picture it is highly unlikely that the sniper was firing at an individual since using a .50 cal against personnel is against the Geneva Convention, but if said individual is wearing some equipment like a canteen...well all bets are off. _________________

Is having a big army something to be proud of?.... in the end....im not sure, considering, the ignorance of wars and how so many innocent people die over ones greed or vanity... and with such hatred flowing through the world, we should be more proud of instilling peace and not creating war.I would say, im proud of not having a war thrived country...but then again thats just me..
