I probably make the worst titles for my threads. But anyways, I have turned to my fellow villuns for some help on a certain subject. Some people here know about a lot of my work. If you do not but want to, visit my myspace and you can read a very small and light margin of it. For publishing purposes and such I only blog so much of my stuff on there. Anways to get back on topic, I wouldn't turn to anyone else but my fellow villuns for this. A current piece that I am working on, involves the definition of rebel. "Rebel" is used in such a wide context. Too wide in my opinion. A rebel is defined as one who goes against society, more or less. Anyways I do not want to post too much more about this until I have finished and did all of the c.r. procedures ect.

So I ask you all what your opinion of a rebel is?

Thanks all, I look forward to the response

A rebel can be many things to many different people. Some may feel that a rebel would be someone fighting against the current holders of power, if this was related to government then that person might also be labeled a traitor.

I personally believe that a rebel is someone who does things his or her own way which would be different from what the majority would feel is the "normal" way. An example perhaps might be the following:

Ganja and Tiju are making toast for breakfast. Tiju puts peanut butter and strawberry jam on his slices of toast. Ganja being a rebel puts peanut butter and tabasco on his slices of toast. What a rebel !!!

exactly JD!! "Normalcy"...exactly, but I dont want to get off of topic here. But I have a huge piece on normalcy. and when you go against the "normal" even though "the Normal" goes against the universal philosopies you are looked at as a rebel. Life today is looked at in a corrupt way. And when you see the genuine way like mandela, gandhi, jesus ect...they were considered a rebel but now they are revered. But again there are good and bad rebels.
