Private Servers

As you may know, I'm interested in getting this game, but I don't want to pay the monthly fee. Thats why I'd like to ask you guys if any of you have tried playing on private servers. What server was it? was there any lag? was there a population similar to a normal server's population? was a good amount of content on the server?

from my limited knowledge of this the populations are low...you will not get the same experience...it is against blizzards rules...and the admins can give or take away your stuff..

heres the trick

buy it a month or less before your birthday, if you like it enough to get addicted then ask for 60 day cards for your birthday. you can add them whenever you want and if you decide to take a break from it, all it takes is using another card to activate your account again.

ahhh, i forgot about those cards. I might wind up doing that. I'll prolly have to pay for them since im prolly gonna ask for some nice headphones for my b-day(new thread on that later). I'll think about it.
