Hey there Ville peeps, long time no play.

My power supply died last week (Thursday), so I ended up ordering a new one online. I ordered it with two-day shipping, and even though they might not work during the weekend (they still had Friday anyway e.e), the new PSU was just packed today. I technically should've gotten it by the end of today.

*Sigh* I miss my compy...

Just needed to vent a bit.

That is why I only order from newegg.com and zipzoomfly.com

Newegg now packs stuff up on weekends too. Zipzoom has free 2 day air.

Eheh, I ordered from Zipzoomfly.com, and yes, two-day free shipping. *Sigh* I'm disappointed.

I hear ya. I ordered a new headset from zipzoomfly on Friday since I ran over mine with my chair. I used the 2-day air also. I just got an email this morning saying that it shipped.

I'm tired of making an arse out of myself in front of wife/daughter when I forget I don't have a headset and I start pressing the "speak" key and say stuff when no one is there to listen.

Lol, I think you make yourself look more crazy than anything. =P But yeah, Zipzoomfly doesn't even have as many customers as Newegg, and Newegg has amazing shipping. =/ Shoulda just ordered from Newegg.

Wierd. I have never had a problem with zipzoomfly. Everything that I have ordred has shipped the same day. And I have ordred a good bit from them. Hell i had a case shipped via FedEx ground from them and it got here in 2 days.

As for newegg and their 3 day ups I have had an issue. A package got to portland 1 day early and went out on the truck for delivery. They then realized that it was 3 day delivery and not 2 day, so the pulled it off the truck at lunch time and tossed it back in the warehouse just to deliver it the next day. This is one of the many reasons I hate UPS.

I've built 2 PC's with parts from Zipzoomfly with no problems. Things usually ship that day or the next morning. Not sure what the deal was with some measly 2lb headphones. I had problems with newegg in the past since they used to ship UPS but I heard that changed?

Nope - Newegg still have UPS as the default cheapest shipping option. Just ordered some flash memory from them yesterday.

You can get it shipped via Fedex, but it costs more.

I know your delay is because they packed it late, but when ordering from New Egg or whomever, I find that Fed Ex usually gets to my Chicago address within 2 days for regular ground, and thats from California (New Egg) and Houston (Tivo) Not to mention the last 2 times i used them, the packages were delivered before 3pm, with UPS it takes much longer.
