I doubt it matters much. the 7600 has a better architecture, probably a higher clock speed( I can't find the one you posted's speed), and alot more graphical features. _________________ R.I.P. Blue |

It makes a huge difference. Get a 256 bit memory interface and do not get a 128 bit. 128bit are out of date and will not give you performace that you are looking for. _________________ P4E @ 4.00 Ghz, LeadTech 6800GT 420mhz/1.16Ghz, 1 gb Corsair PC 4400, Creative X-fi, Raptor

I've got an ATi x850 pro which i love! I'd wait a little bit longer until DirectX 10 comes out and decide then. That's just my opinion _________________

This is the one I have and I love it. I have no problems running HL2 or FEAR, or Oblivion! Well...i have to keep anti aliasing around 2X on Oblivion, but, cmon! have you seen those screen shots! http://www.elderscrolls.com/art/obliv_pc_screens_01.htm

Anyways, I love the Omega drivers for ATI cards, escpecially the ATI tray tools Overclocking utility

I bought this card in november at $289 It is much more affordable now _________________

They're called ATI Tray Tools, they come with the Omega drivers. http://www.omegadrivers.net/ At least I thought thats where i got em from . ATI Tray Tools help you overclock and set fan Speeds per temperature. Pretty nifty. _________________

What he said.

Sure the newer card will be faster and can handle "newer" technologies (which you won't see in any games for awhile) I would get the one with the most memory. _________________
