Hell yea, I've got my Logitech Wheel Mouse.

I actually PURCHASED this mouse, on purpose. Out of all the mice I wanted. I previously owned a Razer Diamondback PLASMA Limted Edition that fscking FAILED on me. :/

PS: If you want one, here's the cheapest place to buy it, free 2nd day shipping: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=211104

You can't find the original design, limited ALL BLACK mouse anywhere. This was the only trustable site I found it on.

In the end it's a matter of personal preference. I used to play at sens 5 but once you get used to the recoil you'll find guns with higher recoil especially the garand, bar, and stg difficult to play at high sensitivity. I know it sounds crazy but when I'm in a firefight I do not want a tiny movement of the mouse to jerk my crosshairs. I'd rather it be a longer smoother stroke of the mouse to line up the head.
What's more important than sensitivity is to make sure mouse acceleration is off.

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=004&active_tab=overview

thats my mouse. got it for $20 on clearance at work a few years ago. works great but what i love the most are all of the programmable buttons. technically 7 different things i can program onto that thing which helps in game. what all do i have bound to my mouse you ask?

bind "MWHEELDOWN" "invnext"
bind "MWHEELUP" "invprev"
bind "MOUSE1" "+attack"
bind "MOUSE2" "+attack2"
bind "MOUSE3" "stopsound"
bind "MOUSE4" "+speed"
bind "MOUSE5" "prone"

and when i look at that black mouse while it may get the job done. i don't think i coudl use a mouse with any fewer buttons anymore

it really all depends on your mouse and windows settings.
the one thing i would suggest though is fiddling around with it and trying it out with increased sensitivity. the faster the better. if i shoot you some time and you wonder how the heck i moved that fast, it's probably becauser my sensitivity is outrageously high, not that my actual reaction time is that much faster. you just have to get used to it and then you're set.
another thing to keep in mind is your screen resolution. you would have to scale your sensitivity proportionately to your resolution, methinks. it's all about gaining that .1 millisecond advantage.

mine's at 8 for every weapon i use. i also have the cpl mouse_fix installed which (i think) gets rid of the acceleration of the pointer in windows. but it's weird because out of nowhere my mouse will spin in circles sometimes, like all of a sudden my screen will either jerk and look down and spin for like two seconds or it will look up and spin. very weird. ive tried going less than 8 and i feel like i can't move my weapon fast enough and going too high feels like i can't control my weapons at all so I keep it at 8 for every weapon, however i might be more accurate with less sensitivity when im allied support infantry cuz that gun shoots all over the place

i used to play with 14, but forgot to reset it when i reinstalled dod awhile back and started using 5.2 -- just never changed it back i guess. i usually use BAR on allies and k98/k43 on axis.
