Well, I'm applying for a job in the mountains. My friend just got a job working at the Banff Spring Hotel. Nestled in the mountains between Alberta and British Columbia, this fantastic castle like hotel could hold my job for anywhere from 6 to 12 months.

http://www.fairmont.com/banffsprings/

That would be the hotel I'd be working at. It has one of the most beautiful views I've EVER seen. I'd get payed to live there in worker housing thats kind of like a dormatory, and get one meal a day payed for me. Plus I obviously get a wage.

This would also put me very close to you western staters. I'd totally organize a trip to visit you people in Washington and places around there. I'd drive out to BC from here in Ontario too. So I'd also have my car to drive myself to visit people. No stupid bus rides for me. Although its gonna be like a 2 day drive out to BC, lol. Anywho, tell me what yall think! I'm trying to get Innocent on board with me also, since we're both bums, lol. I'll send yall post cards if I go!

That'd be awesome! I'd probably either carry your bags, or see you in some bowling alley/internet cafe they have! I applied for both jobs, lol. Or on a day off we can go skiing or something! Woo!

My wife and I have been talking about going to Banff and staying there for like two years now. It looks awsome.

Banff is an awesome place... about 10hrs from where I live (just outside Vancouver BC)! Been there loads of times...watch out for the wild animals wandering aimlessly down the middle of the streets...bears, elk...!
Lake Louise is just 30 minutes up the road for serious skiing or you can drive an hour to Golden for some really serious skiing (loads of double black diamonds!)
The only downside is that it gets a bit crowded in the summer but I guess that's because it's a major holiday destination!

And if you ever miss the rain, you can head over the Rockies into BC! It rains here pretty much all winter! Today, it's really cold (3°C!)

Hope it works out for you.

BTW, your ping will REALLY suck! It makes such a difference for us west coasties to go on TheVille III instead but the camaraderie is not the same as IV! Most times I go on, my ping is over 200 on TheVille IV but about 70 on TheVille III!

Welcome to Alberta Mal !!

If you ever come up to Edmonton let me know and we can go for a coffee or something.

Heck, if you want to try shooting some guns we can arrange a visit to the range if you like.
