The competitive day of defeat community has recently been revived due to a recent surge caused by the possibility of dod 1.3 returning to summer cpl. After 2 Day Of Defeat tournaments in a row we had the best turnout rate by having 16 out of 16 teams show up at the BYOC tournament in the winter of 2004 and a fantastic showing last summer with 39 out of 42 teams showing up to support DoD! If we are to get DoD an official tournament this time around it could launch dod onto a whole new level. We have a confirmed list of 5 European teams, 1 Australian team and a remarkable amount of North American teams. We really could use any support you guys could give us by idling #cpl on gamesurge with the [DoD4CPL] tag on the beginning of your name. At the moment Quake 4, Cs 1.6 and CS:S are official games at the next event. We really need to push this hard and quickly!!
