Just wondering if you guys use ts or vent when you play. If so can i get the info please please please

I like that Steam games have voice built in and you can see who is talking. I've never used teamspeak, but it's really nice that in Day of Defeat you can have "all talk" off so each team can talk privately. I don't think The Ville has a teamspeak server. Only "steamspeak".

We used to have Teamspeak, but it did not chatch on. Since there is a voice system ingame it is mostly useless anymore unless you are doing competative play and are really paranoid about the other team hearing you some how

if you were to get one though, Teamspeak would be the one to get.

I think the reason why some want a TS/Vent channel as well as steam voice is for chatting purposes. In game voice shouldn't be for chatting but for gameplay.

If someone were to setup a TS/vent channel somewhere then I don't think it should be something controlled or even sponsored by theville. They shouldn't have to deal with issues arising from it. That would also mean people shouldn't advertise it here or on the server.

It should just go by word of mouth via instant messengers or even private messages here on the forum. As well, it should have a password so the person(s) controlling it could change it on a regular basis and weed out the morons.

I wouldnt say that we couldnt talk about it on here. Even if it is held by a 3rd party member, if its for the Villuns, then why not. It would be cool cuz if we all wanted to chat, we could just log on and talk to each other. That'd be awesome. TAKE THAT LONG DISTANCE CALLING!

I run a Teamspeak server myself. Hasn't failed me so far.
