Any more thoughts on adding the maps? Maybe just add them to TV3 and see if the maps generate some more traffic. Once Kalt is released then a nice 8-9 map rotation would mix things up nicely.

P.S. Bender said he would be willing to toss someone's salad to get it done. He heard they were great spots for camping

Sora and serlarno are great maps. I play them all the time. They are about the best 2 customs out there.

Ok as of right now TV3 has been switched over to DoD v1.3 untill we get some of our other servers back and Source decides to take off a bit more. We will be keeping a close eye on this and hopefully this will be just temporary. Right now there is a much bigger fan base for DoD v1.3 and with the other 2 DoD v1.3 servers being down right now and TV3 sitting empty for the most part it is a wise choice.

Sorry to those that played on Source on TV3, but I see this as temporary untill we can get all the other servers up and running again.

Hmm the one server I would play on. Oh well GG Ville off to diff servers I go.

Those maps look awesome. Please load them if they are stable and won't crash the server.

Mine we were just gaining some momentum....... I had a handful of people that were all going to start going to TV3 then there would have been two ville servers.. I think Sora and Salerno would have helped mix it up. Hopefully its temporary but my ping sucks to TV1 for some reason. Please bring it back!! I just chunked down a membership - put my fees toward keeping it going!!! Give us another chance! Kalt will be out before the end of Jan. too : (

P.S. Bender will still toss your salad if you bring TV3 back!

Rough, like Simple stated this is for the most part temporary until the orher 1.3 servers are up and running.

The Ville is going through some tough times after the crash and its taking a bit longer to get things up and going. As Powder has pointed out, things will get back better then ever. So lets be patiant and supportive while this is being taken care of.

The Ville needs your support at this time, things will get back please don't be to critical, the Ville was always here when we needed it now it needs us.

I have mixed feelings about custom maps - on the one hand they do increase the variation on the rotation, on the other they have a tendancy to empty a server in no time at all due to people not being patient enough to download the maps.
The only way such a thing can succeed is with an incredibly fast download system linked to the server. Even then it may still have a negative effect.

Perhaps a link in the motd to a place to download a map pack would help too?
