But I really enjoyed Guns of Navarone, Bridge Over River Kwai, Battle of Midway, Battle of Britain, The Eagle has Landed.

for some reason all i can think of is the scene in we were soldiers where the guy got napalm on his legs and when someone goes to lift him all the flesh slides off.. now that was cool
