I guess this is the end of custom skins. I liked the Ville skin...

LOL in the update news it said that the friends network might not be available soon.

It wont be very long before people rewrite thier old skins to work with the new one. I always disliked the default Steam colors so i went ahead and made a quick 'Ville skin. Its not as good as the original that Chan made, but if its the color scheme you like, then it'll do. Doesnt have a link to here yet or the Ville logo, but i might put some more time in to it later.

best way to do it so that you still have a copy of the original steamscheme.res file is to go to the skins folder(...\Steam\skins) and create a new folder for this file. Then put the file from above into it and restart steam. Then go to Settings, Interface and select the skin.

make sure to check your connection speed while your in "settings" , mine was erased after that update.
