Was just wornding if anyone was using this operating system? How well does it work ----- ya know whats the scoop ????

Well, it runs just like XP pro, just on a 64 bit processor, but it still only handles the data at 32 bit, because it is not compatable with AMD's 64 bit...... have to love Microsoft

really it is not working with AMD 64...wooo i dodged a bullet there...building this new super computer and almost picked up XP 64...glad i didn't.

Just started planning my next creation, haven't drop any bills yet. May wait a few months to see if a better operatiing system pops up. I'm kind of on the bubble now. Pc is few years old but still doing ok. Taking a long look at investment -VS- return -VS- how much the wife is going to fuss.

I did not realize it did not work right either until I started studying for my A+ exam and went over processors

well i bought Windows 64, and you're right it doesn't work in 64 bit mode with the AMD processor, and it also doesn't work with my motherboard apparently, so GG windows.

Thankfully windows 64 only cost me $12

Gotta love the campus computer store...
