I've become a Ville supporter, and much like another fella I saw in a thread here, I'm stuck with an odd pp- login and password, and not a clue how to proceed? Perhaps some assistance?

It may be broken, but you are supposed to enter that login info into the authentication window that comes up after clicking continue or access subscription. The last time I renewed was about 3 months ago, so I'm not sure if everything still works the same way. If you are having problems, the best way to get it straightened out is to PM Jfet Zener or powdermilkman.

There should have been a button or something on the same page that gave you the user and password.

Yes, I did. My reply was that there was a system that wasn't working correctly, but nothing else. I'm just kinda hanging out in limbo here, I suppose.

Hey,

I am in the same boat, I have the user name and password, but like a dummy forgot to save the link to that login page. So, I don't know how to get back to it.
The login page came up after I did the paypal thing, but the passes wouldn't work at the time, cause I had just signed up the subscription. I have emailed Jfet, so the important thing is the donation is there to help fund all the Ville does for us. I am sure Jfet will respond when he can with the info for us.

I just renewed my membership without a problem. When you get to the point where it shows that login information, there is a button at the bottom of the page to access your subscription. When you click there, it will take you to the secure page to type in your email and forum user name. It worked just now for me, so I don't know what the problem is.

Ok, that's "interesting" news...

Let me see what's going on then...

EDIT: Ok, just went back over all the information I have on the PayPal transaction. Nothing at all like you described is there. I'm evidentally doing something wrong. All it shows me is the monetary transaction, and the login/pass for my subscription. There's nothing showing anywhere on activating it, nor can I cancel the transaction and try it again.

I would be glad to send my e-mail, username, login/pass, and any other necessary information to an admin if that would help?

hold on Jfet is away right now, He is the only one who can help you right now. He has a flood of pms and posts in the admins lounge, as soon as he is back things will e taken care of.

Stevo what is the url to the sign in page? maybe that would get him through this?
