the ville one...GONE!!!!  the ville 1 had the best ping for me and was perfect but i guess they had to take the best ville server and make it the best game server but still now i have to play on the ville 4 and ville 5 and i have terrible pings and ya
I MISS IT!!!!!

yeah....you know back in the day when i first started playing on the ville....i played on 1 and 4, but up until last week i could count the number of times i played on tv4 in the past 4 months on one hand! I miss TV1. We lost some of our regulars on it to source.....i wish my puter was good enough

pff quit your complaining i remember when TV1 used to be a TFC 24/7 Avanti Server, those were the days.
This DoD stuff though is all rubbish i tell you.

well innocent the id guys are tryin to set a server up for dod 1.3? see my comp is being gay becuz it should run dod:s with no problems but it has low fps and i have done everything so ya me and mal are workin on a server so ya we will have sumthin dont worry!!! and its prolly going to be from the same place that the ville 1 was from so ya u will get a good ping!!!!

Dude i hear ya. I miss the General model, and NEO TFC, all the neat sprites. Back when you had to keep retrying for about 10mins praying someone would leave and you could get their slot.

Innocent I know you’re just kidding around with the jerk comment, but some people might not.
You probably shouldn’t be calling people jerks.
The ville still offers two excellent DOD servers, ville 4 and 5. The community is a little split up right now because some are playing source and some are playing DOD.
It’s going to take some time but eventually we will all be back together again.

But they aren't the same thing. They are both in Chicago but I believe they are on different networks. My ping on 4 isn't bad but it's always a little higher than it is on 1.

Hurray for Simpleman. I'd like to know if there is a website for the server hosters of TV1. I'm looking to get a server and want one with good ping.
