I just wonder if anyone has ever bought/used one of those cd scratch remover things. They are like a small device that is supposed to "buff" out the scratches or something like that. My reason for asking is that I have several music CD's that are scratched pretty bad and skip really bad if they read at all. If anyone has any input I'd love to hear it. Thanks! |

yeah i've bought one before. a disc dr. and it has revived many of my old cd's which i then immediately copied to my computer so it woudln't happen again. and ya know what it worked pretty well. i bought a hand crank one but after rethinking it now almsot wish i'd shelled out the extra 10 bucks for a motorized one.

jsut a note if the disc is chipping it won't work, if it is cracked it miught not work and if it is a deep cut or scrape it most definately won't work, but as far as surface and medium scratches it worked well enough to copy the cd's to hard drive space _________________ |
