I'm thinking about furthering my 'education'. I love computers and thats where I'd like to work. I know a bit about PC's, but not enough, and if I had a 'certificate' or degree, I would think that would be better than nothing. I'm getting a feeling more and more of being stuck in my job (Sam's Club supervisor) and stuck in the political and degrading BS.
I was wondering if you guys think these people are a good idea or not....

The reason I'm asking is.. I have a hard time making any kinds of decisions, and I always love to hear others opinions. Well, tell me what you think. _________________

What field with computers? I am in Computer Animation and Graphic Design. I love it. Also where do you reside and do you want to take online courses or inclass courses?
But, to answer, I have heard of them. I don't know much about them though. _________________ Krazy Karl-I am so Krazy! |

Me personally, I think that furthering your education will do you a lot of good. Although down the road you may move up in your company and your salary will grow. But being a manager it seems that the more you make, the more hours you have to work. I work at a restaurante and my managers get paid pretty well, but they also have to work 60-70 hours a week. The good thing about computers is that they're everywhere! Every business and corporation has tons of computers.
Last year my major was Accounting. I hated it. So this year I changed it to something I would enjoy more, Electronic Engineering. I think that inclass courses would probably benefit you more (I have no experience with online classes tho.), because it's more hands-on. So your question shouldn't be asking whether or not you should further your education, but in which field do you want to go into. |

dont know if this will help you choose a path, but my nephew set up a webdesign company around 3 months ago and is already snowed under with work which is not bad for such a short time, if you know anything about webdesign then learning more seems to pay off. |
