i've searched everywhere, but still don't know. WHY are they known as llamas? who picked the word to call them?

| I believe the common assumption is it started out as Lame became a Lamer and then somehow a Llama. It is kinda catchy so I can see how it caught on. If anyone has a different theory lets hear it. |
