is there any program out there that doesn't make ur computer go reallllly slow when you record ur screen? cuz like fraps is horrible to use while gaming...or doing anythign else...
and making a demo is way too much hardware space...for like a minute its 2 GB of space!!!
Anyone idea??? |

meh...i actually got 20fps with that one 10 better than fraps...but still no good... |

we use snag-it at work. apparently it does videos, but i havent used it, but ive heard good reviews from the non-technical co-workers who do. |

Get lots of ram dual channel if possible and a fast HD AKA SATA Raptor 10,000RPM or a SCSI 15,000 RPM.
The only thing I can think of is that you are running out of CPU and ram. So I don't think you are going to find anything that will be better untill you have enough power to run everything. Not sure of your spects on your system.
Probably need to check and see what your system is running at when you are tring to record and go from there. Check your CPU usage and your physical memory usage when running them.
