For some reason the icons in the task bar near the clock don't show up sometimes. Usually the sound icon and the Steam icon don't show up even though it is running. Other icons do it, too. I like having all my icons there every time I start my computer, not just every once in a while. Does anyone know what could cause this?

I'm not sure what causes it, but my steam icon also disappeared recently  |

Right click near there and click properties and go to customize and make sure the icons you want are set to always show.

 Thanks sarg! I dl'ed the proggy called unpnp and restarted and it has been working fine, so far. |
